Rigby Lake!

So these pictures are backwards but oh-well. We spent a lot of time at rigby lake this summer. They have really improved it and the kids loved it. Kade was dumping sand down Ports shirt and DreAna and Tyler really thought that was so funny. So everyone took turns.
Look at all that sand. He sure needed a bath when we got home.

Swimming Lessons

So we had swimming lessons again, the kids really love the water and its so good for them to learn to swim. Here is a caption of Kade after he came up from jumping off the diving board.
Benson had done so good swimming under water and really getting his tecnique right.

Last we finally put Porter in for his first time. He had friends in his class Deegan Miller, Porter, Cole Taylor and Saxton Scott. The poor teacher had her hands full with all these boys in her class.

Porter loved every minute of it and did very well. He still needs to practice putting his face in the water and blowing bubbles.

Oh- and he really hated waiting his turn the little stinker snuck off the step when the teacher wasnt looking. So I guess he didnt love every minute of it. He always wanted it to be his turn.

Benson's 6th Birthday

Benson's birthday was July 7 and I am just getting around to posting it. We just had a party at the house for him. He invited lots of friends from school and of course had a bunch of cousins supporting his day.
I think Porter was very jealous because all these presents were Bens and not his. He even occupied the chair before Ben had the chance to.

I bought him a cake and then that morning he said that he wanted me to make brownies, so we had both.

Benson is such a joy to have in our family. It really wouldn't be the same without him. He is always making us laugh and has so much positive energy. He is so patient with his brothers expecially being stuck in the middle. He enjoys everything outdoors like shooting guns, camping, fishing, working on the farm with dad, he even asks if he could mow the lawn(hopefully that will last). Benson i am so proud of you for everything you do, we love you so much and are so grateful for you.

Silly Kids

One day Kade came up to me looking like this. I wonder if he wants to look like this someday.
Jord was planning on taking the kids on a father and son outing. He told the kids it would be when he got off work and they would head to the mountains. I was inside getting everything together for them to go and was wondering where Ben went. I looked out the window and this is what I found. I felt so bad for him when I saw him waiting patiently for his dad to come home to take him fishing...

Porter is always pulling these pouty faces. He seems to get his way with his brothers when he pulls this face. So it happens quite frequently..

Day Camp with the Scouts

I got the privilige of taking the scouts to Krub Sout Hollow. It was a really nice day and it went well considering I had 10 scouts go that day. Thank goodness for Annette Scott who helped me with the boys. They learned alot and passed off so many requirements.
Kades favorite part was the obsticle course he ran through it about 5 times. I thought he would be tired but was determined to make it through it as many times as he could.

Go Kade

Keep Moving!

They learned so many things but one thing that Kade remembered was the first aid part. They learned how to put together a turnicate where they carried an injured person. He went home and put one together himself and showed my sisters girls, so they spent the afternoon carrying each other around. I'm just glad he learned something.

I'm glad we survived the day with boys, they were good and got involved in every activity.

Summer Days!!

Stephanie and Tony invite us down to Utah every year to hang out with the kids and take them to Lagoon. It wasn't very warm this year since we went in June but the kids were not going to leave without a swim in the pool.
Porter is always trying to keep up with his brothers and will not settle for staying behind, so he took the plundge along with them. Dosen't he look so cute in his boxers and winnie the pooh life jacket!! What a STUD!!

We had alot of fun at Lagoon it was such nice weather not to hot and not to cold, but towards the evening it down poured so hard that everyone tried taking cover in the show shelter. Tony, Steph, Tia, McKayla, Porter, Maddie, Seth, Savannah, Benson and Kade.

Ready to take a ride on the train through the zoo...

I think this was Porters favorite ride. He is so happy being with his favorite cousin McKayla. He cried "My Mickey" for days after we left.

Benson was such a sport, he went on all the rides he could and rode them like a champ. I think he was scared but never let anyone know.

The weekend before we went to Utah Jordan really wanted to take the boys camping. We went to Birch Creek and took the kids fishing. Grandpa Bob was so good with Benson who wouldn't leave his side for a minute. I think he said Grandpa more than a 100 times.

Porter and DreAna played in the creek pretty much the whole time. Since I didn't take there swimming trunks the boys went in there boxers.

Jord teaching the kids how to clean the fish.

Kade climbing the trees and making faces.

Turning 8!!!

I can't believe I have a child that turned 8 and was ready to be baptized. Kade has really shown how grown up he is. I was really worried that he wasn't going to be ready or want to get baptized, but when the time came he was actually excited and said to us that he was ready and wanted to follow in Jesus' example.
Kade with his dad on May 1st 2010 getting ready to finally be an official member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints.

I was so proud of Kade I had tears in my eyes the whole day..I'm glad he is such a good example to his little brothers.

A little Brownies and ice-cream after the luncheon

Even though we had a party for Kade on his baptism day he insisted on having some friends over on his actual birthday. I picked up the kids after school and let them play at our house for a couple of hours.
Dustin, Britton, Branson, Keefer, Kade, Alexa, Sidney, Brenden, Vanessa, Brynlee, Straton and Joel.

Opening some presents. He insisted on getting ice skates to play hockey but he settled for a hockey helmet instead. Since there is not any snow or ice to skate.

I just made a simple cake since it was such short notice.
