The Month of May!!

We went camping over the Memorial Weekend which is not normal since Jordan Farms. He is usually busy planting grain. He has been itching for a fun camping trip. We went up to Birch Creek and my family came along. It was so much fun to get away and enjoy the nice weather. Here are a couple of best cousins Porter and DreAna are pretty much inseparable. They have so much fun together. I just hope it stays that way.
All the kids made grandma and grandpa take them fishing, but Benson was so excited about catching his fish. It was a good thing they stocked the creek for Memorial Weekend because the kids had a blast catching the fish. I think the final total was 10 fish. Later that day grandma cooked them for everyone to eat. I was pretty suprised but the kids really liked eating fish..

The kids enjoying a fun short ride on the 4-Wheeler Alexa, Andrea, Hillary, Porter, DreAna, Benson, and Brynlee.

Aunt Hillary came from Washington to go camping. Everyone was so excited for her visit.

You can't go camping without smores. Grandpa, Kade and Brynlee

We had lots of yummy food that Jordan was willing to cook. Here he is grilling Steaks with Aspagus.

Porter and DreAna spent alot of time playing in Andrea's car. We have no idea why they wanted to play in the car when there was so much to do and see, but they stayed occupied and they were very easy to keep an eye on.
Mom and Andrea made strawberry short cake which was so yummy, but Hillary got carried away and we ended up in a whip cream fight. We had it all over in our hair. I think it was a tie. Thanks for the good ole days Hill...

Kade had a program at school, they sang songs and read some stories which the kids had wrote through-out the year. Kade and Page Davis reading there stories..

All the kids in Mrs. Surerus first grade class singing very well. Kade is actually sad that he is out of school.

Benson had a Pirate Party at his teachers house on his last day of school. These are his great teachers Mrs. Joan and Mrs. Jana. I can't believe he is going to Kindergarden this fall. My kids are getting so big.

Benson's preschool class at the pirate party. They had so much fun and made so many neat things like necklaces, pirate hats, treasure boxes, snakes, etc. Mrs. Jana had a blow up castle and a zip line set up for the kids to play on along with many more fun things to do.

On Saturday the day before Mothers Day my friend Audra and I took the kids to see the baby animals in blackfoot. They had a lot of fun but really loved the corn seed in a swimming pool. I told Jordan thats what we need for our kids but he didn't agree....
Benson playing in the corn seed..
The biggest hit of the day.

The giant snake was a big hit with Kade.(I can't remember what kids it was). Benson acted brave but he stayed as far away from his head as possible, notice he is barely holding it's tail.
Kade hatched a chick at school this year and brought one home. He was so disappointed when I made his give it away so hopefully seeing all these baby ducks helped feel the empty nest at home without his chick he named Chirpy.
They had a card board cow set up with utters and let the kids try to milk it. They thought that was pretty cool. I thought so also. Farm kids without the cows (thankgoodness).
Kade had a play at school called Slappy Hooper and he was Slappy. They did such a good job. I am so proud of his accomplishments. They had an award ceramony at school and out of his class he got the best writer award. They gave him a $20 gift certificate to Barnes and Noble. He was so excited.
His class that performed the play. The kids sitting in on the floor are the 2nd and 3rd graders who came to watch is play...

Kade is 7 years old !!!!

Kade had his Birthday Party at the house. He wanted to invite some of his friends and cousins. He had a lot of fun and enjoyed having some friends over. In the picture is Benson, Wylee, Branson, Britton and Kade..
He wanted an Incredible Hulk Party so we just went green.. I love that the kids are so easy to please. We decorated cupcakes and made the number seven for his age.

He invited his cousins which include Alexa, Brynlee, DreAna, Parker, Sidney, Joel, Vanessa, Tyler, Wylee, Branson, and Straton. He wanted a few friends to come so he invited Britton Berrett and Brenden Lounsbury. They had a lot of fun just playing together. I think it was the most relax pary because I didn't have to entertain the kids all day.

The night before the party Kade and I went shopping for his birthday present. It was so nice to spend some time alone with him. We went to Wal-mart first and bought everything we needed to make his cupcakes. He looked up and down every isle to pick out the perfect present. He couldn't find anything he really liked except the new and bigger bike we bought for him. After we went to Toys R Us he looked up and down the isle and spotted this baby. The Wolverine Claw.

Here he is on his new bike. Benson is so funny. The second Kade showed him his new bike he took off on Kade's old bike.
We sure have enjoyed having Kade in our family. He is so smart for his age and amazes us everyday by the things he learns and loves to do. He is so good with his younger brothers. The other day Benson said "mom do you know who my bestest friend is" my reply " who"(thinking it would be somebody in his class at school or in primary or even the most obvious answer, his dad.) his reply "Kade I can't wait for him to come home from school I miss him so much". It makes me happy to think how good of friends my boys are for eachother. We don't have the perfect days together all the time. They sure do have there moments and fight, but in the end they love eachother and would stick up for eachother through anything. Those are the moments you live for. Happy Birthday Kade we are so proud of you and love you so very much..

Happy Easter !!

Here are the boys Saturday afternoon coloring the Easter Eggs. Kade was so scared to get the paint on his shirt that he had to take it off. Of course Benson followed and then Porter had to copy his brothers in the next picture.
I took them up to Roberts City Park for an Easter Egg Hunt but forgot to get pictures. I was pretty afraid that Benson wouldn't have a chance to get any eggs but he held his own and ended up getting more eggs than Kade and Porter.
After we painted the eggs in the coloring Kade decided to pull out the paints and make designs on them. They actually turned out really cute. Porter really got into the egg coloring and loved every minute of it.

Sunday morning the kids woke up and thought the Easter Bunny didn't come. He left them Easter Baskets with some Candy and put special eggs with hints inside for them to find clues and see if he left them anything special.

He hid the eggs outside so Sunday Morning the kids went on an Easter Egg hunt outside. They loved finding the eggs and even a mouse had found one of the eggs and had eaten half-through it.

With all the fun of Easter Egg Hunts and getting candy we really tried to talk to the boys about what the true meaning of Easter is all about. They really seemed amazed at how we revolve the day about the Resurrection of Jesus Christ. They still keep asking us questions about how Jesus died and came back to life and since he was Resurrected we will be also.
I am so grateful for my family and the opportunity to be with them forever because of Jesus Christs Example and Sacrifices.

Porters Second Birthday at Blastoff

For Porter's Birthday this year we decided to have it at Blastoff. The weather has been terrible and all the kids are sick of being in the house, thats why we decided to have his pary at blastoff so the kids could run around and play as hard as they want (better there than in my house).
Porter had so much fun playing that is was hard to get him to blow out his candles and open presents. The other kids were willing to help him expecially Benson. He couldn't wait to see what Porter got for his birthday so he could play with eveything.

When it was time to sing Happy Birthday he got all shy and started to burry his head in my chest. He thought the best part was the fire from his candles. I hope we don't have to worry about that when he gets older.
With all the fun going on Porter had a lot of cousins and friends at his party. Here is Joel, Kade and Benson

Here is DreAna playing in the ball pit. Her and Porter are pretty much best cousins. They play so good together. She is about four months older than him. Just enough to boss him around.

Here's Parker and Riley playing in the tubes. He thought it was pretty fun expecially when no one was watching him so he could run up to some kids (that we didn't know) golfing and take there balls and run.

Benson, Tyler and DreAna having more fun...

Porter has gotten so independent. He did not care if anyone was playing with him or around him. He just takes off on his own and plays hard. We have enjoyed him so much. He amazes us everyday with the things he does.
Here are a few:
-he greets everyone with "Hey Baiba"
-He says thankyou and welcome to everything you do for him
- He loves to answer you with "No Way"
-He graduated from a crib to a big boy bed and sleeps awsome
-he is so fasinated with shutting doors but cannot open them yet. Alot of the time he shuts himself in dark closets and just today he shut the door on himself in the storage room. We just follow the cry to let him out.
-He loves to go to work with his dad. Every morning he gets his shoes and his coat and is ready to go.
-Sings the happy birthday song while playing around the house.
-Loves the cartoon Diego and does all the interactions to it.
-Copies me while I am excersising. ( he can do Yoga better than I can).

Bear World!!

We took the kids to Bear World to see the baby bear cubs. Kade and Porter loved seeing the cubs. Kade was so excited to hold them, he loves animals and is always wanting to find out more about them. Porter tried to actually take it out of Kade's hands. Benson was being a little stinker that day so he wouldn't even look at the bear cub. When he saw the pictures afterward he felt bad that he did not get to hold or pet one.

The Making of John Deer!!!!

In February Jordan, Riley, Scott Stoker and Dee Stoker all took a trip back East to Waterloo and Maline Iowa. They were invited to tour the John Deer Plants. Of course any guy would not turn down a great opportunity to see how the tractors and combines were really built. The first tour was in Waterloo Iowa where they got to see how the tractors were made. They weren't allowed to take camera's or cell phones in that plant. I guess it was top secret. The plants were so big that just the building alone was built on 60 acres of ground.

The guy who took them on the tour through the plant said they do not make a single tractor or combine unless it's been ordered. Can you imagine all those tractors that Jordan is standing infront of are already sold and waiting to be shipped out.

This is a picture in Moline Illinois at the Combine Plant. After the Combines are put together they line them up in an assembly line and test evey single part of the machine to make sure it is working properly.

Every Man's Dream.....

I got the pictures switched but this picture is of the inside of the combine where it processes the grain and dumps it in the bin.

Rigby Youth

Kade was so excited to start playing Basketball. We put him on a team this year when he really shouldn't be playing until next year when he is in 2nd grade. He is one of the shortest kids on the team. Hopefully he will get some height on him soon. He loved every minute of it. Mark Lounsbury and Jordan were the coaches. I think Jordan enjoyed coaching them as much as Kade loved playing.. This is of them starting to warm up. I had a hard time getting good pictures of them playing.

Kade was actually guarding that tall kid behind him.. He pretty much had to jump on him.

It was a fun year for basketball he was pretty sad to see it end.
