We love you guys...

Kade has come so far in his life. We went to his parent teacher conference a week ago, he is doing so good in school. He is a great reader and his true talent is writing stories and drawing. He loves to do art. His teacher Mrs. Surerus said they are doing something new this year for all the kids in this district. The kids are writing there own book and getting them published. The older kids are writing there own book, but the younger grades like 1st grade is making a class book where they all put stories in it and then it gets published. Mrs. Surerus begged them to let her pick three students to do there own individual books, out of 26 kids Kade was one that was picked. He was pretty excited. He also got to make the cover page of the class book, since he is such a good artist. We are so proud of how good he is doing. Kade you have your own special place in our family. You are such a good example for your younger brothers and they look up to you.
Benson is such a character. He is doing so good in Pre-school. He can write his name and recognize most of his letters and there sounds. He knows his colors and his shapes. He is always telling stories and making us laugh. Just the other day he was with his dad and suddenly he leans over and says "Dad I have a secret." Jordan's reply "whats your secret" Benson "DAD I HAVE A SECRET," Jordan was starting to get frustrated and says "Benson what is your secret" Benson's reply "I can't tell you dad it's a secret." That was a good one Ben. We are always learning from you. You are always making us laugh.

Now Porty is going to be 2 years old in March. I can't believe how big he is getting. He is so easy going and I am so thankful for that. He loves to play with cars, tractors, trucks etc. I can not keep him from climbing on everything, he climbs up on the couch and jumps off. I'm affraid that he is going to brake his leg. He loves music and can do all the actions to "PopCorn Popping." I will put in the leapfrog learning video's which are his favorite. (if anyone does not have them I highly recommend them) He repeats the alpabet and there sounds with the video. When we have family prayer he folds his arms and trys to say the prayer with us. Porter loves his older brothers, he is always hugging them and trying to keep up with them. Porter you can make us smile and melt our heart by the things you do. You add so much joy to our family...

We couldn't imagine our lives without these boys. It can sure be hard at times but a true growing experience. Kade, Benson and Porter you make our lives so much more meaningful and enjoyable. We love all three of you so much.

The Big 30

Jordan had his 30th birthday January 5th. His friend Trevor whom he served his mission with lives in Pocatello and his birthday is the same day. We have made it a tradition to go out with him and his wife Emily on there birthdays. We decided to eat dinner at Ruby River. Well, when they know its your birthday they make you where these funny looking cowboy hats and take your picture. I know it's not the best picture of them but I thought it was funny. Jordan eyes are all squished together because his hat was to tight.
I am so grateful for Jordan and all the things he does for me and our boys. He is such good husband and dad to us. We love you Jord and we wouldn't know what to do without you.

Christmas 2008!!!

We had a really great Holiday Season.. It was so good to spend time with family. The family that wasn't able to make it we missed you.
I have to say one thing that kade did this year on Christmas Eve. We were at the Robison's family Christmas Party. It was starting to get late and all the sudden Kade was ready to get home and really wanted to say his prayers. I kept telling him we will leave in a minute he was relentless. So finally we left and he said that he looked out the window at grandmas house and saw a red blinking light (Towers for planes) he thought it was Santa's Sleigh and if he wasn't at home in bed that he wouldn't stop at our house. He also had to say his prayers and tell Heavenly Father that he would be a good little boy and please have Santa stop at our house tonight.
We had my family Christmas Party at my sisters house. Santa made a special trip to see the kids and see what they wanted for Christmas. He brought all the kids a special present. The older kids got a sketch pad with colored pencils and the little kids got a coloring book with crayons. They loved it.
Kade and Benson were so excited when Santa showed up. Kade couldn't stop saying "I think that was the real Santa." Porter didn't really care for him much, maybe next year.

Santa saying his good-bye's. Thanks Santa for making a special visit this year.
My parents got all the kids pajamas with robes. All the kids loved them. They couldn't wait to put them on. Porter and DreAna were the cutest though. They looked like a little old couple getting the newspaper. Ha Ha..
Porter styling his new look

Riley spent alot of the time entertaining Porter and Parker so they wouldn't brake the navtivity that all the grandkids put on.

A tradition in the Robison Family, on Christmas Eve the kids are told about the real meaning of Christmas. We read from the scriptures the story of Jesus' birth and the kids place the statues as we read...

The kids singing Christmas Carols... and performing there talents..

It's time to open presents from grandma and grandpa... The three little boys wanted to climb all over there presents. I guess they thought that was more fun.. They actually liked there present once they got over the climbing, it was a tractor and trailer with loading cars...

The four boys Kade, Benson, Joel and Seth all opened remote control cars. They loved them. Thanks to the family for all the great gifts. We were all pretty spoiled.

Porter's present from Santa....

Benson was so excited that Santa didn't forget to bring the only thing he wanted, a gutair...

Kade is so into animals and bugs that he was exited to see that he recieved this bug world.. Don't be alarmed all the bugs in this world are not real.

Porter couldn't get cousin Tyler off his tractor......

Winter Weather!

Benson is our hard working kid. He loves to be outside working expecially with his dad. When he woke up to snow, the first thing he wanted to do was put on his snow clothes and go shovel the driveway. I tried to get him to wait until the wind quit but he had to get out there.

He was still out there when it got dark and finally Kade decided he wanted to help. They are out on our back deck trying to knock the snow off.
They played in it as much and they worked. I bought them the snow shovel's a couple of years ago and they have been the best investment we have ever made. Expecially since they were only $5.00 a piece.

Porter just watched out the window. He has been sick so I made him stay inside until he got over it. Everyone knows how hard life can be when the babies get sick.

With all the snow falling I don't think they are getting much accomplished but at least they burned off some energy, something these guys have a lot of.

Christmas Tree Hunting

Every year after Thanksgiving we load the kids up in the truck and head up to the mountains to find our Christmas Tree. This was a tradition in Jordan's family and now we have made it one in ours. We went up to Birch Creek with Tra, Andrea and the girls along with Jake and Savannah. We unloaded the 4-wheelers and headed up in the canyon where there are actually christmas trees.
Porter made us pack him all over the mountain. He refused to walk with his snow clothes on so Jordan and I really got our exercise. He finally went to sleep after getting so tired. He sure had a hard day.

We hiked all over the mountain to find the perfect tree for the boys. This is the one they picked out. Jordan chopped it down and dragged it down the mountain. We thought it was a keeper. It wasn't to cold expecially after hiking. The boys were really good troopers, of course Porter is finally sleeping in the truck.

Here is the boys tree. They love it. I think it turned out pretty good.

Popcorn Lover!!!

I thought this picture was so cute of Porter. All my kids love popcorn but we can't give it to Porter fast enough. One night all the kids were down stairs watching a movie and I let them take some popcorn down to eat. Porter kept coming back up stairs for more. This is him making his way back downstairs but ended up dumping the bowl on the stairs. He was trying to pick it up and put it back in his bowl but couldn't resist eating it in the mean while. He didn't even realize that I was watching him until I took this picture.

Basketball-Basketball-Basketball

Here is Kade trying to do some tricks, He keeps asking us to get him a basketball hoop so he can play at home.
Great Grandpa Wolz is showing Kade some moves for when he in on the basketball court.

So we finally broke down and bought him a basketball hoop now the only problem is Jordan has to figure out how to put it together. If anyone knows Jordan he hates reading instructions.

So he finally decided to read the instructions and with some help from my Brother-n-law Tra they have the hoop almost put together.

The end results... Kade and Ben were so excited to start playing basketball. I think Kade was outside playing for two days straight. We finally had to make him come in when it got dark. Now the newness has worn off some and he dosen't play as much.
